Background

The project began over a decade ago, around 2012, as a hobby prototype when I had little experience in game development.  However, I had some experience in programming already and pursued art as a side hobby.  So I spent 6–8 years crafting concept art and the game's basic foundations while on a massive green tea binge.

After a life threatening encounter with a flock of aggressive seagulls, I decided to fully commit to the project around the pandemic.  As the sole developer and artist, I wanted to explore fresh concepts while drawing inspiration from my favorite games (particularly from the roguelike genre).
